Why Sipadan
Sipadan is Malaysia's only oceanic island, rising 600 metres from the sea floor. Turtles, barracuda and reef sharks are seen on almost every dive. Diving at Sipadan needs a daily park permit, and permits are limited, so book early. Resorts on Mabul, Kapalai and in Semporna town arrange the permit and the boat.
